Wow, this is stunning and beautiful in its truth and simplicity. You transported me to all those times I've prayed with and to the land. All the countless times I've gone to the forest with a heavy heart, and bowed my head before a being far older and wiser than I or any other human, and been received with compassion and a transformative love. They sense us, our pain and our joy, and seem to have an infinite generosity. Like the biggest heart that can witness it all without judging, and in doing so bring us back to the truth.
I wrote a spell for all 22 while I was writing my spell book, Invocations, and because I was spending so much time with them, I felt inspired to go deeper. It's been so rewarding thus far!
Invocations is a print book that is available for pre-order, but the as yet unnamed Musings for the majors will likely be published in about a month. I am going to publish it digitally, at least at first. I'd love to send you a copy if you're interested!
It's been a week in which I haven't been able to read all that I wanted, so I sat down this morning to catch up. I had a thought that I should just let it go--there will be more things to read later, can never really catch up--and then I came to this. So glad I didn't pay much attention to that thought. This is how I pray, too.
